Iwase Family Winter -Light Up-
Once a year, our house with snow makeup is illuminated in the darkness where you can see the starry sky.
The temperature inside the gassho-zukuri is the same as that outside.
In the winter of Gokayama, where you can warm yourself up in the hearth, this season is where you can feel the rigors of living in a gassho style with all five senses.
Take a break while drinking warm herbal tea and amazake cooked in the hearth.
We hope that you will learn about the life of Gokayama in the old winter and feel a new side of Gokayama.
