Kitanoya Shokudo

A Chinese restaurant that has been loved by the locals for many years, located a 1-minute walk from our house. The recommended handmade dumplings are "soul food", which is loved by the locals, so please come visit us. ​

Restaurant Shimizuya

​ A restaurant opposite our house. You can enjoy dishes that use the blessings of nature, such as wild plants and mushrooms that the owner of the restaurant has collected in the local mountains.

Shunsai Kobo   Iwana

It is a restaurant that offers exquisite rock fish dishes that represent Gokayama. This is the only place where you can eat a handful of fresh rock fish! Reservations are recommended for lunch.

There is no doubt that you will be able to enjoy the handmade dumplings!

Akaokan

Akaokan, a long-established inn founded in 1945

We are staying with prominent people such as the imperial family, writer Ryotaro Shiba, and everyone who visits Gokayama from all over Japan and around the world.

Why don't you heal the tiredness of your trip at this ryokan where you can enjoy meals using natural hot springs and local delicacies.

Surrounded by nature-rich mountains, this ryokan is a quiet place where you can spend a relaxing time.

Please enjoy dishes that make full use of Gifu's representative Hida beef, mountain products, and Toyama seafood.

​ At Gokayama-so, which is near the Murakami family, a nationally designated important cultural property, you can enjoy open-air baths and dishes that are handed down in the mountains.
